If you like to keep busy, there is plenty to do in La Punta! Wake up early for deep sea fishing, play 18 holes of golf during the afternoon, take up a game of tennis in the evening on one of 4 private, lighted courts and then wind down with a cocktail in one of our outdoor palapas.

If you prefer relaxing, we can offer plenty of that too. Wake up to a warm breeze and the sound of the surf just below your terrace. Sip your morning coffee and read a book from our collection while doing a little poolside sunbathing and then enjoy an hour and a half of a heavenly poolside massage.

Casa La Serena is a 5,500 square foot, magnificently crafted, two-story, Spanish style vacation villa that was designed and built by accomplished architect, Juaquin Torres. It easily accommodates 8 people. The house consists of two luxurious master suites on the upper level and two guest suites on the lower level, one with a king-sized bed and the other with twin beds. All suites have their own balconies with beautiful ocean views and private baths. They are tastefully decorated in different styles and feature Mexican antiques, custom crafted furniture, ceramics, glass, art tile, wall hangings and many beautiful fabrics from local pueblas.

The inside living areas are airy and spacious and feature handcrafted woodwork, stained glass windows and leather furniture. There are two sitting areas upstairs, one complete with an entertainment system. There is a formal living room and dining room on the lower level.

The modern, gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and grinder, blender and other convenient amenities. For afternoon barbecues, there is a custom barbecue with built-in Weber appliances located just outside the kitchen at the poolside terrace and for evening entertainment, there is a full wet bar.

The outside living area features 2 palapas that are artfully made from tree trunks and palm fronds. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset over Santiago Bay from our poolside palapa terrace. Or choose a more serene setting in the second palapa at the base of the lush tropical garden area right near the ocean. Each palapa has a ceiling fan and a light.

Amenities include 9 separate zones of AC, multiple phones, laundry service and facility, satellite TV, VCR, video collection, stereo with CD player which filters throughout the villa and an extensive collection of CDs, videos and books. Optional amenities include a personal activities director, houseman that will barbeque and make your margaritas and a maid.
